Poor fox is being outsmarted - again! Remember the Aesop Fable about the fox and the raven and how the fox fooled the raven? Never happened. What really happened was the raven posed on the branch to lure the greedy fox into dropping his hamburger in favour of the possibility of fresh raven. Once the fox dropped the burger the raven flew off while one of his colleagues swooped in to claim the prize. The lesson is a burger in mouth is better than two ravens in the bush. The original painting is owned by a private collector in Ontario.
